Olympia Brown was a leader in the women’s suffragist movement in the nineteenth century. After completing her studies at Antioch she enrolled in St. Lawrence seminary in NY and became the first woman ordained by an American denomination (1863). Today’s sermon will tell her inspiring story. Today’s service will include a recognition of new members.
