This service will be focused on First Parish Outreach to “Sunflower of Peace” which is a charitable organization providing supplies for medics and other urgent needs in war torn Ukraine. Tetyana Lymar-Paine is today’s guest speaker.  She grew up in what was initially the Soviet Union and then became its own country of Ukraine. Tetyana lived near the sea in a town with a thriving ship building industry. She now lives in Scituate, along with her niece who escaped after the invasion and is currently a sophomore at MIT. They are active supporters of Sunflower of Peace. Tetyana’s niece will share her experiences in leaving Ukraine after the invasion and continuing high school in the US.
