With over $10K raised to purchase an ambulance and medical back packs in Ukraine, the organization we are supporting, Sunflower of Peace, asked First Parish to name the new vehicle! Thanks to all of you who participated in suggesting a name for the ambulance that we are funding. The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. Sunflowers are an important part of Ukraine’s identity, culture, and economy. And so, very fittingly, we are naming the ambulance Sunflower Power!
