Fifty people attended the 9:00 a.m. summer service at First Parish on Sunday, July 2, 2023, for a reading of the Declaration of Independence delivered by volunteers from the congregation!  The first reading of the Declaration in Cohasset was delivered in late July 1776 from the high pulpit in the Meetinghouse by Rev. John Browne, then pastor of First Parish.
