History tour of the Meeting House

This Sunday, October 2, at 11:45, Rev. Dan Harper will give a tour of our 275-year-old Meeting House.

Dan writes: “No doubt many of you know far more about the history of the Meeting House than I do. But I hope I can offer some new insights, based on my experience as a minister, a former carpenter, a singer of early American music, and a former local history tour guide. If, on the other hand, you’re new to the congregation (as I am), I’ll be summarizing the Meeting House histories written by Rev. William Coles in 1897, and Rev. Roscoe Trueblood in 1947. The tour will probably last about 45 minutes. Feel free to leave early or drop in late.”
